If you need to take several children to school every morning (not to mention their gaggle of evening activities) then a van could be the right automobile for your needs. Buying the smallest car you can is not only smart; it also reduces the chances that a fatality will occur in case of a collision. Most fatalities incurred during collisions are due to a large automobile (read: SUV, etc.) colliding with a smaller car.
